OOTD ~ COLOR BLOCKING - LOUD & PROUD

Color blocking has caught my attention this season.  It is not a new trend but definitely has come back with a big bang.  Usually I am not a person who jumps on the "trend train" because there is one every other month.  I believe in pieces that have longevity and are not run of the mill.  But the mentality of color blocking is no rules and any color goes, which is the mantra I live by.  The flyest people I know are the ones who do not follow any rules!!!!

ARO-AMERICANA ART EXHIBIT

Oklahoma – Inclusion in Art, has partnered with Gaylord Pickens Museum, to host the exhibition ‘Afro Americana’ exploring African American culture. The presentation includes work from noted and emerging Black artists from Oklahoma. The exhibition will run from Jan. 12 to April 21 at the Gaylord Pickens Museum, located at 1400 Classen Drive in Oklahoma City. Inclusion in Art is dedicated to promoting racial diversity in Oklahoma’s visual arts community and to connecting communities through socially conscious presentations that challenge the mind and embrace progressive thought. In an attempt to be better and live better, I have decided to start making a lot of food from scratch and have more control of what I consume daily. My mother always told me one aspect of life you should never cheat yourself with is quality food. What you eat will be a determining factor on how you age.
